Last updated: September 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Masayuki Kawajiri, the developer of the ArcNext mobile application, handles user information in ArcNext.

1. About ArcNext

ArcNext is an application for recording basketball shooting practice and reviewing practice results and progress.

2. Information Stored by the App

To provide its features, ArcNext stores the following types of practice data on the user’s device:

  • Practice menu
  • Made shots and shot attempts
  • Results by court spot
  • Challenge results
  • Practice location
  • Session notes
  • Practice date and time
  • Template usage

This information is stored locally on the user’s device by default.

3. Accounts and Login

ArcNext currently has no account creation, login, or automatic cloud sync.

Practice records stay on the user’s device, and the developer does not automatically receive them.

4. Backup and Sharing

ArcNext can export practice records as a backup and share a summary of a workout.

When a user chooses these features, a backup file or shared text may be sent to another application or service selected by the user. Please review the privacy policy of the selected destination.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

ArcNext does not automatically send practice records to the developer’s server, and the developer does not sell or provide those records to third parties.

6. Advertising and Analytics

ArcNext currently does not use an advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or third-party login SDK.

7. Price and Payment Information

ArcNext is offered as a one-time paid download through the App Store. It currently has no in-app purchases, subscription, or advertising.

Apple processes the purchase. The developer does not receive or store credit card numbers or other payment details. The App Store price varies by country or region.

8. Future Cloud Sync or AI Features

ArcNext currently has no cloud sync, login, or AI analysis feature.

If these features are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated to explain what information is collected or transmitted, its purpose, where it is stored, and whether a third-party service is used.

9. Device Permissions

ArcNext currently does not use the camera, photo library, microphone, or location services.

The app may use the device file picker or share sheet when the user imports a backup or shares information.

10. Children’s Use

ArcNext may be used by a wide range of players, including children. The app does not ask for a name, address, phone number, precise location, or other information that directly identifies a user.

Users should avoid entering personal information in session notes.

11. Deleting Data

ArcNext practice records are stored on the device. Use Reset All Records in the app to delete the locally stored records. Uninstalling the app may also delete them. Export any records you want to keep before deletion.

Backup files exported by the user must be deleted by the user from the device or service where they were saved.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised when app features or applicable laws change. Important changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
